Luss Highland Games
The Luss Highland Games brings thousands of visitors to Luss to watch piping, Highland dancing, traditional sports and hill races.
Stay at the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, just a short walk from Luss Games Field, ideally situated to enjoy the games come fierce or fair weather. It may be the middle of summer but sunshine is never guaranteed on Games Day!
Held annually since 1875, except for a break during the two World Wars, the games have been tempting visitors to Luss for many moons. Traditional events including Tossing the Caber and Throwing the Hammer still entertain more modern crowds with the pipers and Highland dancers bringing more artistic entertainment.
